Trauma affects us all. That’s why we need to work together to build resilience in ourselves, our workplaces, and our communities. Our mission is to build trauma-sensitive communities across the state of Colorado and beyond.
At Resilient Colorado®, we partner with schools, businesses, and non-profits to teach them how trauma impacts our brains, bodies, and behaviors. We also provide ongoing consultation support to organizations as they adopt trauma-sensitive practices that foster resilience and improve outcomes for staff, students, families, and clients.

Resilient Colorado is a locally-driven and statewide-focused organization located southwest Colorado. We serve on multiple local, state, and national coalitions for suicide prevention and substance use disorder prevention. We specialize in cultivating resilience within rural communities. Word of mouth quickly spread and our work is now expanding across the nation, as well as Canada and England.
